Global Head of Design for Poly at HP 2024 - Present
HP acquired Poly (Plantronics + Polycom) in 2022 with the goal of building a robust video/audio collaboration business brand, under the HP umbrella. After two years of being a part of the HP family, as Senior Director of User Experience Design, I was named Global Head of Design for Poly, at HP (August, 2024). I now lead an amazing cross-functional team, responsible for all design activities at Poly, including User Experience/IxD, Industrial Design, Human Factors/Ergonomics, Design Research and Graphic/Visual Design. Our team designs physical, digital (and phygital) solutions with the goal of connecting our users at an emotional, natural and human level. Our cradle-to-cradle design process relies heavily on authentic users/customer insights, which drive our program requirements, our design solutions and our vision for the future of both Poly and HP.

As a Sr. Design Director, at Poly, I led an amazingly talented cross-functional team of 20+ design professionals. Our team was charged with the design of hardware, software, mobile and web experiences across Poly’s diverse portfolio of products. All of our design effort began with authentic user insights identified through ethnography, contextual inquiry and/or participatory design research activities.
WHIRLPOOL | KITCHENAID, Benton Harbor, MI
Sr. Design Manager, KitchenAid Brand 2001 - 2007
As the Sr. Design Manager for the KitchenAid brand, I was responsible for the leadership and creative-direction of a talented 20+ member multi-disciplinary product development team. Our group was charged with the design and development of major appliances and countertop electrics. We worked extensively with satellite Whirlpool design studios and external partner manufacturers in Europe, Asia and South America.

Senior Designer 1999 - 2001
During my tenure as a Senior Designer with Motorola Mobility, I worked closely with the European Design Center in Milan, Italy, to create a portfolio of youth-oriented communication and entertainment products. Working both in the US and in Northern Italy, I contributed to visual brand language and platform architecture initiatives, as well as Human Factors and UI development.
